  Love love love it. The room was lovely and clean. The bed very comfy. Shower pressure great. Location was perfect. The only thing I would like is an extra breakfast option like cereal. Other then that. Everything was wonderful. I even had a dip in their beautiful pool. I did notice their water feature was not going. It would have been lovely to see it flowing and make the place look extra special. I would highly recommend Garden City Hotel to my friends and family 100%

  Helpful staff, very clean, large rooms, great beds, good value for money. The hotel doesn't seem brand new but very well maintained and has been updated over it's life so the facilities are very good. Will likely be my go to in future when coming to Canberra.

  Not really happy with the room. I stayed for 2 nights and was out during the day so did not use much the facilities. My booking included breakfast but was not informed until I checked up with staff. All these are tolerable, but not so for the following.
  
  The room was the last one in one aisle. There is a raiser next to it. It was loud if any one nearby use the bathroom or toilet, throughout the night. The sheet in bed did not seem cleaned or sanitized. There is curvy short hair all over. It is not a good image, especially during the COVID.
  
  The second night of my stay had quite a bit rainfall in the evening. I was in one of the chair and heard the sound of water drops onto leather. Then I found water was dropping onto the back of the chair I was in from the ceiling.
  
  Overall experience is not good. Only the staff for the late check in assistance is patient and nice. Apart from that, I have nothing can recommend with the price. Yes, it is discounted because of the last double bed. But not low enough to ignore all the above. And it is not the lowest in the same price range.

  Had a great stay here when in Canberra. Nice room, clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. A little out of the CBD but that didnt bother us, pool area was great. Little bloke 9yrs really enjoyed it. Pretty reasonable rates to i thought. Recommend for an o night stay.

  Our stay was absolutely great. Very clean. Comfortable bed. The staff are very helpful, polite and cheerful. We spent 5 days there. Cannot fault it in any way. The food was good. Having a mobility disability, I found that one disabled parking spot was not enough. At least two more would be very beneficial to travelers staying there. Great swimming pool. Will definitely stay there again.
